Self-Financing Scheme: (Teaching posts):University Institute of Engg. &
Technology: Director-1(UR) ( on consolidated emoluments linked with salary last
drawn), Professor-8( UR-6, SC-2); Assistant Professor-16(UR-10, SC-3, BC-2,
ESM-1); Training & Placement Officer-1(UR); Dept. of English: Lecturer-02
(UR)(01 each in French & Spanish); Institute of Law & Management Studies,
Gurgaon : Lecturer-1 (UR) IT.

For qualifications, specializations, pay-scales/salary, nature of posts, procedure
for obtaining application forms and other relevant details/information, please visit

on requirement. Those who applied for any post(s) earlier in response to Advt.
No. 1/2008 & 3/2008 need not apply again. For appointment to senior positions
(Professors, Directors, etc.), candidates can be considered in absentia. Highly
meritorious candidates may be offered such positions by the competent authority.

I-TEACHING POSTS:
Applications on the prescribed form obtainable from the University Publication
Cell on cash payment of Rs.60/- at counter (Rs.15/- for SC/BC of Haryana State
only) and Rs.90/- by Registered Post (Rs.45/- for SC/BC) along with other
details/information are invited for the following posts in the regular pay scales/ on

1. For qualifications and other details/information, log on the University
website www.mdurohtak.com. Interested candidates possessing
UGC/AICTE/State Govt. qualifications may apply alongwith attested copies of
testimonials (from Matriculation onwards), enclosing a demand draft of Rs.500/-
(Rs. 125/-for SC/BC of Haryana State Only) as application fee in favour of
Finance Officer, M.D. University, Rohtak, to the undersigned latest by 30.9.2008.
A relaxation of 5% marks at Master’s degree level to SC/ST and
Physically/Visually Handicapped candidates is admissible for posts of Lecturers
which carry UGC/State Govt. qualifications.
The candidates applying for the post of Professor with UGC/State Govt.
qualifications are required to submit five duly bound sets of reprints of their five
research publications respectively ( in case of Professor out of five two could be
the books) alongwith their applications. List of five research publications for the
post of Professor be mentioned in the prescribed proforma.
2. Posts designated as “likely to continue” are awaiting approval by the State
Govt. These will be filled on contract basis at monthly consolidated salary equal
to the total amount at the initial stage in the prescribed pay scale(s) of the post.
Candidate(s) selected and appointed on these posts will be placed in the running
pay scale as and when the approval of the Govt. is received.
3. All appointments under Self Financing Scheme will be made on such
terms and conditions as are approved by the Executive Council from time to
time.
4. Incomplete applications and those received late shall be rejected
summarily. Benefit of reservation is available only to the residents of Haryana
State.
5. For senior positions, candidates can be considered in absentia on the
basis of their bio-data. Lecturers working in the Senior Scale/Selection Grade
can also be considered for appointment in the same pay-scale.
6. The number of posts may vary. The University reserves the right to
withdraw any post from being filled up without assigning any reason. Those
candidates who had previously applied against Advt.Nos.1/2008 & 3/2008 need
not apply again.

II- Budgeted Non-Teaching Posts:
Applications on the prescribed form obtainable from the University Sale
Counter on cash payment of Rs.60/- (Rs.15/- for SC/BC) and Rs.90/- by
registered posts (Rs.45/- for SC/BC) by sending demand draft in favour of
Finance Officer, M.D.University, Rohtak are invited for the following posts so as
to reach by 30.9.2008

In the case of these posts, University reserves the right to consider a
suitable person: in absentia and/or invite him/her to join a given post provided the
statutory selection committee so recommended.
Age: 18 to 40 years for all above posts. Relaxation in age will be given
as per Govt. rules and in case of exceptionally suitable persons.
Interested candidates possessing prescribed qualifications may apply
alongwith attested copies of testimonials (Matric onward) and a fee of Rs.500/-
for posts at Sr. No. (1) to (3) and Rs.300/- for posts at Sr. No.(4) to (12) [(Rs.75/-
for SC/BC candidates of Haryana for posts mentioned at Sr.No.(7), (10) and
(11)] in the shape of demand draft in favour of Finance Officer, M.D.U, Rohtak or
University cash receipt.
Incomplete applications or those received after the closing date will not be
entertained in any case including on account of postal delay. Reservation of
posts will be for Haryana Residents only and as per other conditions of
reservation policy of State Govt./University.
The persons who have already applied for the post of Librarian against
Advt. No.3/2008 need not to apply again.
Reservation shall be applicable only for residents of Haryana.
